Shield Cut diamonds are a fancy shape resembling a shield used by warriors and have a somehow look of a triangular shape diamond with the top side bowed and the two bottom sides composed of two bowed edges.
Shield Cut diamonds are usually set as side stones for fancy rings next to a center rectangular or round.
